St Francis Xavier
4 - 12 March 2006  Jesuit centres throughout the Province took part in a Novena of Grace in honour of St Francis Xavier.  Parishioners in Glasgow, Liverpool, Southall and Preston were joined by their local bishops.

Archbishop Vincent Nichols
7 April 2006  Archbishop Vincent Nichols of Birmingham celebrated Mass at Blessed Edward Oldcorne School in Worcester, on Friday 7 April, the 400th anniversary of his martyrdom.

Farm Street Church, London
22 April 2006  The Society of Jesus held an international celebration on Saturday 22 April, the Feast of Our Lady, Queen of the Society.  In London, Mass was celebrated at Farm Street Church, to mark the anniversaries of St Ignatius Loyola, St Francis Xavier and Blessed Pierre Favre.

A pilgrimage to Rome
April 2006  Staff and pupils and their families from Jesuit schools in Britain attended the papal celebrations for the Anniversary Year on 22 April, by making a pilgrimage to Rome.


Holywell (St Winefride's Well) in north Wales
20 May 2006  Many joined a Pilgrimage to Holywell in north Wales to mark the 400th anniversary of the martyrdom of Ralph Ashley, Henry Garnet, Edward Oldcorne and Nicholas Owen.  Mass was followed by a procession to the well, and devotions.

St Wilfrid's Church, Preston
31 July 2006  Evening Mass was celebrated for St Ignatius Day at Farm Street Church in London and St Wilfrid's Church in Preston, with a special welcome extended to Jesuit alumni/ae.
