Ken Vance SJ

We have just employed a full time pastoral worker and she will be working with local families and children.  She will also be supervising a young Jesuit volunteer, whose remit is to work with the local 12 - 16 yr olds.  In an area which, in the past, has suffered from religious bigotry, a new joint Anglican/Catholic primary school has opened.

The shoots of new growth are appearing in all sorts of unusual places.  Maybe our local brand of culture will be able to provide a different perspective to the celebrations of 2008.
