    Robert Persons SJ

    Born on 24 June 1546 at Nether Stowey, Somerset. After a short and dangerous period of ministry in England he worked mainly in Spain, France and Rome.

    Jorge Mario Bergoglio was born in Buenos Aires on 17 December 1936. He was the eldest of five children to Italian immigrants, Regina María Sívori and Mario José Bergoglio.

    Became a Jesuit in 1960. Peter has been superior for Stamford Hill and Mount Street. For years he was parish priest in Glasgow and moved to Stonyhurst as parish priest at the beginning of 2014.
