St Michael and St John the Evangelist, Clitheroe

This small Lancashire market town, built around a Norman castle, used to return two MPs until the Reform Act of 1832.  The parish was founded from Stonyhurst in 1797, from where a priest used to commute until 1840, when a resident priest was appointed.
