Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network 2019 resources published

Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network 2019 resources have been published and are available to order.

The popular Living Prayer booklet and Calendar list the pope’s prayer intentions for each month and include prayerful reflections, and pictures of the Holy Land. The materials are published in collaboration with Irish Jesuits at Messenger Publications.

The publication of the Living Prayer booklet and calendar was launched at last week’s Adoremus Eucharistic Congress in Liverpool, where the Director of the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network in Britain, Fr David Stewart SJ, was invited to speak.

Afterwards he commented, “It was extraordinarily successful with huge interest shown and my presentation was also well received. It was great to have the help of Ian, one of our novices at the stand, as there was high demand for the materials. My two colleagues from Messenger Publications, who had an adjoining stand, were delighted with the response and returned to Dublin with an almost empty car.”

Materials can be ordered from Fr David Stewart SJ. Please email your order to him direct.

The Pope's Global Prayer Network, previously known as the Apostleship of Prayer, is a worldwide prayer network responding to the challenges that confront humanity and the Church’s mission as expressed in the Pope’s monthly intentions.

In praying with these intentions, we extend our gaze onto the whole world and enter personally into the joys and hopes, the pains and sufferings of our brothers and sisters everywhere. Promotion of the network has been entrusted to the Jesuits by successive popes since the 1840s.
