Ignatian spirituality

In order to be in touch with God's desire for us, we are encouraged to notice regularly what is going on inside ourselves.  For this we try to pray daily the 'examen'.  Spending time asking God's help to notice in the events of our day where we are being drawn to God and where we are moving towards ourselves.

Ignatius helps us to find God in gratitude, recognising all that God has done and is doing for us, in service, trying to do some small things to show our gratitude, in recognising his help, knowing that we can do nothing by ourselves and in union with his will, through discerning his desire for us.

Did anything particularly attract or interest you in this brief description of Ignatian spirituality?  Did you find yourself drawn to ask God for anything as you read it?
