Fr Michael Smith SJ will present the Teachings of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin - scientist, priest and mystic.

He will outine Pierre Teilhard de Chardin's work, showing how every part of the universe is ablaze with the love and glory of God.

Pierre Teilhard de Chardin (1881 - 1955) was a Jesuit paleontologist who worked to understand evolution and faith. In addition to his ministry as a priest, he lives and worked on the front lines of war, engaged in field work in which he explored the early origins of the human race, and undertook adventurous travels of discovery in the backlands of China. Pierre Teilhard de Chardin also participated fully in an intellectual life through the development of his imaginative, mystical writings on the evolutionary nature of the world and the cosmos.

The daytime session of Saturday 18 February (11am to 4pm) will be repeated as an evening course on Wednesdays 8 - 22 March 7 - 8.30pm at the Mount Street Jesuit Centre in London.
