  • Gerry Gallen SJ

    Gerard Gallen SJ

    Became a Jesuit in 1991. Gerard returned to the province in 2004 after studying at Boston College. He has been chaplain to Wimbledon College and St Aloysius College. At present he is chaplain to St Joseph’s Hospice, Hackney.

    Charles Plater SJ

    Became a Jesuit in 1894. Plater was a pioneer in retreat giving for working people.
  • Gerard Lorriman SJ 1915 – 2011

    Gerard Lorriman SJ

    Gerry became a Jesuit aged 55 after a career as a chest doctor. Assigned to Cape Town in the 1980s he bore witness to and supported the struggle against apartheid. He was chaplain to prisoners on Robben Island and knew Nelson Mandela.
