  • Bernard Vaughan SJ (1847-1922)

    Bernard Vaughan SJ

    Fr Vaughan became a Jesuit in 1866 and found fame delivering popular but controversial lectures. He was brother to Cardinal Vaughan and a friend of Edward VII.
  • Frank Turner SJ

    Frank joined the Jesuits in 1974 and for much of that time has focussed on international relations first as an advisor the the Bishops of England and Wales and then in Brussels. He now lives at Campion Hall in Oxford.

    Prior to his execution, his last words were, “What a happy man am I to follow the steps of my Father unto death.” Ralph Ashley was beatified in 1929.
