Our People

  • Bl John Cornelius SJ 1557-94

    John Cornelius SJ

    Cornelius spent ten years in secret ministry in England before being arrested and executed for high treason with four lay companions in 1594. He was beatified in 1929.

    Michael Kirwan SJ

    Became a Jesuit in 1980. Michael is a formation superior, a province consultor and is head of theology at Heythrop College.
  • Gerry J Hughes SJ

    Gerard J. Hughes SJ

    Became a Jesuit in 1951. Gerry J was vice-principal at Heythrop College before being appointed Master of Campion Hall in 1992. He has written several books and had many articles published. He still lives at Campion Hall in Oxford.
