For the first time ever, Jesuit brothers will be electors at a General Congregation. One of them, moreover, will be the youngest elector at the current Congregation. Brother Stephen Power from England was elected by the Conference of Europe. Joe was born in Portsmouth, and after education at St Francis Xavier’s in Liverpool and at Portsmouth Grammar School, entered the novitiate in Harlaxton in 1951 at the age of 18.
