Our People

  • St Aloysius Gonzaga SJ

    Aloysius was from an aristocrat Italian family. Shortly after joining the Jesuits, he died as a result of caring for the victims of plague. He was beatified in 1605 and canonized in 1726.

  • Derrick Maitland SJ 1924-2015

    Derrick Maitland SJ

    Derrick worked in the Guyana mission from 1963-2008 as a parish priest and teacher. He died on 12th January 2015, aged 90.
  • Paul O'Reilly SJ

    Paul O'Reilly SJ

    Became a Jesuit in 1987. Paul is a qualified medical doctor and works as a GP at the Mary Hickey clinic for street homeless within the Cardinal Hume Centre.
