Confirmations at two Catholic Chaplaincies

Students and academics will be advancing along their faith journeys over the next few weeks at two Jesuit-led Catholic Chaplaincies.

In Oxford, a Don will be one of two people being baptised by Bishop William Kenney CP on Sunday 10 May. The ceremony at the Catholic Chaplaincy in Rose Place will also be the occasion to receive two students into the Catholic Church, who will then - along with the newly-baptised and two other students - receive the Sacrament of Confirmation from Bishop Kenney who is the Auxiliary Bishop of Birmingham.

In two weeks time, on Pentecost Sunday (24 May), 17 students at Manchester Universities' Catholic Chaplaincy will be baptised and confirmed by Rt Rev John Arnold, the Bishop of Salford, at the 7pm Mass.
