Our People

  • Brendan Callaghan SJ

    Brendan is a clinical psychologist. He became a Jesuit in 1967. Among his past jobs he has been Principal of Heythrop 1987-1995 and Master of Campion Hall from 2008-13. He is now Superior of the Manchester Jesuit community.

  • Oliver Rafferty SJ

    Oliver Rafferty joined the Jesuits in 1979.  He has worked in social justice and academe and is currently Professor of Modern Irish and Ecclesiastical History at Boston College, Massachusetts.

  • Dermot Preston SJ

    Dermot Preston SJ

    Became a Jesuit in 1979. Dermot was appointed provincial in 2011. His previous jobs have included Socius, Regional Superior in Guyana and chaplain in the University of Cape Town. He lives in the Mount Street community.
