Oxford University Chaplaincy
Since September 2007, the Jesuits in Britain have been entrusted by the Bishops of England and Wales to staff the Oxford University Chaplaincy. The role of the Jesuit chaplains and their team is to help Catholic students and staff of the University of Oxford to grow in their faith and their love of Jesus Christ - through liturgical practice, spiritual growth, intellectual enquiry and practical service of their brothers and sisters, especially those who are poor and excluded. It offers a warm welcome to all visitors, while encouraging them to engage positively, generously and intelligently with their faith and with the world.
