The Ignatian Way Pilgrimage: part 1
Join Fr Peter Randall SJ and Sr Anouska Robinson-Biggin fcJ as they walk the first part of The Ignatian Way from Loyola to Laguardia in northern Spain. Follow in the footsteps of Saint Ignatius of Loyola initially bound for the Holy Land but over time coming to realise that God had other plans. This is a walking pilgrimage, covering approximately 25km a day (some will be more, some will be less) in the mountains of northern Spain. Good physical fitness is essential as the walks may be long and accommodation will be simple. Participants will travel independently arriving in Loyola by the evening of 26th June. The return leg of the journey will be on Saturday 4th July leaving from Laguardia.
About Sr Anouska Robinson-Biggin fcJ and Peter Randall SJ
Sr. Anouska Robinson-Biggin fcJ joined the Mount Street team in 2011 and is the Director of Young Adult Ministries. She is a member of the religious Society of Sisters, Faithful Companions of Jesus (www.fcjsisters.org) and trained in Ignatian Spirituality. When not working in the centre she is one of a team of University Chaplains at the South London Universities Catholic Chaplaincy. Peter Randall is a Jesuit priest. He was previously parish priest at St Ignatius Stamford Hill and is now on the parish team at St Wilfrid's Preston.
