Islam and Christianity: Farm Street Anniversary Seminar
Fr Damian Howard SJ will explore the relationship between Christianity and Islam in a Sunday Seminar at Farm Street Church. The event is part of the celebrations to mark the 50th anniversary of the central London parish which, prior to 1965, was a Jesuit Mission.
The seminars, collectively called Faith, Church and Society - Knowledge, Dialogue and Mission, will cover important, current issues in Church and society. They will explore issues which are relevant for individual Catholics and parish communities today and will take place monthly at 12.30pm. Having spoken for 25 minutes on their topics, speakers will take part in a 20-minute moderated question and answer session, before the session concludes at approximately 1.15pm.
On Sunday 22 February, Fr Damian Howard's seminar is entitled Islam and Christianity - Is there a Common Ground and What are the Unbridgeable Differences?
