Pathways to God

A daily saying all about God, Grace comes Gratis; Gerald O'Mahony SJ

In June the Director of Spirituality for the Jesuits in Britain and the communications office launched PathwaystoGod.org, a new online resource for Ignatian Spirituality.  Pathways to God has daily prayers and inspiring reflections. It incorporates the websites for our spirituality centres St Beuno's in North Wales, the Mount Street Jesuit Centre in London and the Ignatian Spirituality Centre in Glasgow, as well as the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network (Apostleship of Prayer) and the Christian Life Community. The site offers comprehensive resources for those working with groups in parishes and chaplaincies, as well as individuals.

Our spirituality ministry is expanding in response to a great thirst for weeks of guided prayer and mission weeks in parishes and chaplaincies. We are paying more attention to the formation of Jesuits in the skills of spiritual direction, and training many more lay people to become prayer guides and spiritual directors. We are also planning better systems for continuing professional development and supervision of spiritual directors. The new website is a resource for all those who want to come closer to God, and for those who are helping others on their journey.

Fr Simon Bishop SJ, Director of Spirituality for the Jesuits in Britain said “We are delighted to be able to offer this wonderful online resource for all those seeking to come closer to God.  It will be an essential tool for seekers as well as for those helping others along their pathway to a deeper relationship with God.  We have a strong focus on finding ways of recognising the presence of God in our daily lives so that we can respond ever more generously and gratefully to God’s invitations. We would be delighted for users of the site to contribute their own reflections and experiences.”

My Prayer Life

Have you ever heard of the Apostleship of Prayer? How about the Pope's worldwide prayer network?

The Apostleship of Prayer is a worldwide prayer network responding to the challenges that confront humanity and the Church’s mission as expressed in the Pope’s monthly intentions. In praying with these intentions, we extend our gaze onto the whole world and enter personally into the joys and hopes, the pains and sufferings of our brothers and sisters everywhere. The Apostleship of Prayer is the Pope's Worldwide Prayer Network.

Click to Pray

Click To Pray is the app of the Pope's Worldwide Prayer Network (Apostleship of Prayer). The app accompanies you throughout your day. It connects you with thousands of people who find purpose in praying every day for the challenges of humanity and for the mission of the Church as the Pope proposes in his monthly prayer intentions. Through prayer, we can live and build the world we dream. Through prayer, we can give meaning to our lives and be moved to action.
