Arturo Sosa was born in Caracas, Venezuela on 12 November 1948.  Born into a large family, he was notable for his curiosity. The documents from the 36th General Congregation of the Society of Jesus (GC36) have been published. The funeral of Fr Peter-Hans Kolvenbach SJ has been held at St Joseph's Jesuit Church for Collège Notre-Dame de Jamhour, Beirut, Lebanon.
