Tailor slip (42/4/3)

A crumpled up tailor slip with red print and hand-writting in black ink

This tailor’s slip from D Riley & Sons in Manchester was found tucked into Fr Leslie Walker’s notebook. His details are given as: ‘Senior Chaplain C of E 19 Div B.E.F. (British Expeditionary Force) France’. Assuming that ‘C of E’ stands for Church of England a mistake must have been made by the tailor.
