Easter brings a time of joy and peace, and we learn to rejoice in that special time.The meeting starts at 10:00 am with coffee and buns. There will be an introductiory talk by Ann Dunne, following by a time of prayer and then of reflections in group. We'll be ending by 12:30pm.Suggested donation is £5
In the next Hurtado Jesuit Centre's Saturday Reflection morning, John Moffat SJ will help us reflect on 'Time at the Well'.The focus will be the encounter between Jesus and the woman of Samaria, exploring the background and using drama as a way into contemplation.Most welcome at 10.00 for coffee & pastries; start at 10.30, to finish at 12.30

The Jesuits of Santiago were delighted to welcome Pope Francis to the Shrine of St Alberto Hurtado during the papal visit to Chile and Peru last week.Alberto Hurtado was a Jesuit saint of the twentieth century beloved and revered across Chile for his dedication to the fight for justice for the poor and marginalized.On his arrival at the Shrine, which also houses a museum of the life of the saint, the pope was asked to bless the famous “green van” which Alberto Hurtado used in his ministry....

The fight against indifference:The Hurtado Jesuit Centre will offer an Ignatian Day, in which the life of  of St Alberto Hurtado and St Ignatius will be explored. At 10:30 there is a talk “Alberto Hurtado: the fight against indifference” followed by a reflection.Lunch wil be at 12.30.After lunch, at 13:30 there is a  film screening of "Ignacio de Loyola", directed by Paolo Dy.
