Jesuit Young Adult Ministries has dedicated four Clapham First Saturdays to the Second Vatican Council (Vatican II) which marked a significant milestone in the Catholic Church’s self-understanding and evolution.
Come and learn more about the Council and explore its major documents, Sacrosanctum Concilium, Lumen Gentium, Dei Verbum and Gaudium et Spes, with other young adults.
Clapham FIRST Saturdays take place monthly in the Jesuit House on Clapham Common. They are open to young adults, 18 to 35, interested in exploring contemporary issues touching society and the Church. The day is relaxed and informal with quality time given to developing and deepening friendships, and space is always made for welcoming newcomers. A free vegetarian lunch is served but please email us with other dietary requirements (see email below).
