Hosted by the Laudato Si' Research Institute, the fourth and final Down to Earth Dialogue of the academic year will introduce the finalists of the Henri de Laulanié Prize, an international student award recognising outstanding agroecological initiatives rooted in practice, learning and community engagement.
Finalist teams will present their projects, share their experiences, and discuss the opportunities and challenges of developing agroecological initiatives through research, formation and entrepreneurship. The session will be hosted by Sr Mūmbi Kīgūtha CPPS and will include opportunities for participants to engage directly with the finalists.
Named after Fr Henri de Laulanié SJ, whose work contributed to the development of the System of Rice Intensification (SRI), the prize celebrates student-led innovation rooted in ecological integrity, social impact and practical action.
