Developed through a series of improvisational workshops, the production is a contemporary reimagining of Odon von Horváth’s 1932 play Faith, Hope and Charity. Relocated to present-day Britain, the story follows the struggles of a young woman without immigration status and explores the question: “Is humanity always a victim in times of crisis?”
Created by refugee friends involved with JRS UK, the performance uses theatre to explore themes of dignity, resilience and hope, offering a powerful reflection on the realities faced by people seeking sanctuary today.
The event takes place at St George-in-the-East Church, London, on Monday 22 June from 7.00pm to 8.00pm (doors open at 6.30pm).
Tickets can be booked via Eventbrite: Faith and Hope - a Refugee Week performance by the JRS UK Drama Group Tickets, Monday, June 22 • 7 PM - 8 PM | Eventbrite
