Ignatian Year events at Oxford

Three Catholic institutions in Oxford celebrated the Ignatian Year - Campion Hall, the Oxford Oratory, and the Oxford University Catholic Chaplaincy.

  1. A reading of the early episodes of the Autobiography of St Ignatius of Loyola - a weekly breakfast event at the end of the summer term 2021.
  2. Concelebration by members of Campion Hall at a High Mass at the Oxford Oratory.
  3. A musical oratory commemorating Ss. Ignatius of Loyola, Teresa of Avila, and Philip Neri, held at the Oxford University Catholic Chaplaincy and attended by students, members of Campion Hall, and the Oratory Fathers. You can download a programme of this event below.

'Be still and know that I am God’: Exploring Mindfulness, Psychology and the Christian life

Join Dr Aidan Cottrell-Boyce and Fr Christophere Ngolele SJ for the second Laudato Si’ lecture. Fr Christophere, a Jesuit priest and SOAS researcher, explores how the displacement of Congo’s autochthonous peoples reflects the “technocratic paradigm” and loss of “integral ecology” described in Laudato Si’.
