Monthly Literature and Theology Reading Group at the London Jesuit Centre

February 11, 2026

Literature and Theology Reading Group – The Fire Next Time
Starts Wednesday 11 February 2026, 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Location: London Jesuit Centre, 114 Mount Street, London W1K 3AH (and online)

Join Dr Aidan Cottrell-Boyce for an engaging session of the London Jesuit Centre’s monthly Literature and Theology Reading Group, where you can explore the theological significance of great works of literature.

This February, you will be invited to read The Fire Next Time by James Baldwin, a powerful reflection on race, faith, and identity in America — and considering what it reveals about human beings and our relationship with the divine.

Guided by a short lecture and group discussion, this event offers a creative and thoughtful way to deepen your spiritual and intellectual life in community.

You are invited to join the Literature and Theology Reading Group at the London Jesuit Centre in person on Wednesday 11 February 2026 (and on the second Wednesday of every month) or online on the fourth Wednesday of every month—sign up to take part in the discussion.
