Reading the signs of our times with 'Fratelli tutti'

June 13, 2025

The day offers a chance to reflect on our challenging times in the light of Fratelli tutti - discerning our current moment with this text as a guide and exploring what it offers (or not) to aid us, four years after publication.

The team at the London Jesuit Centre are delighted to have a fantastic range of speakers and reflectors to help guide the day, including Richard Finn OP, Michael Kirwan SJ, Professor Suzanne Mulligan, Helen Pearce, Julian Coman, Patrick O'Dowd and Maria Exall, with more still to confirm.

Each session is planned to balance brief, constructive input with plenty of time for discussion and discernment.

The day will also bring together a network of Catholic scholars and practitioners to meet, reflect and discern our times alongside each other, which will hopefully contribute to building lasting relationships that can sustain ongoing research and common action.

The team have invited a mix of people in very different roles and contexts but all with a common interest in, and commitment to, Catholic social justice for the common good.

Reserve your free place using this form. Contact Sarah at admin@ccstp.org.uk with any questions about the day.
