A sign of confidence in the women of the Church

This talk was given by Sister Nathalie Becquart, who serves as Undersecretary to the Vatican Synod of Bishops, which is the dynamic point of convergence that calls for mutual listening to the Holy Spirit at every level of the Church’s life. Sister Nathalie described her appointment to this role as “a sign of confidence in the women of the Church”.  

Opening the talk, Sister Nathalie said:

“Synodality begins with listening – listening to the Word of God, listening to the Holy Spirit, and listening to one another…”
