We are recruiting a Responsible Investment Intern

June 15, 2023

Jesuits in Britain has more than £600m invested, with about 80% of that sum in shareholdings. These funds provide a large part of the income needed for our works, subsidies and grants.

Responsible investment assesses both what is good for us to make money from and limits damage that those sources might cause. This is a work to promote greater social justice worldwide.

The Investment Committee has developed a growing awareness of the concern for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues. To date, a member of the Committee who is also a trustee of the Jesuits in Britain has been the promoter of work in this area.

We are now looking to recruit a paid intern to help with this work. Initially for a fixed term of one year, he / she would take on several tasks under the guidance of the trustee leading on our responsible investment initiatives.

If you are interested in this role, please download the job advert which has more details about what it involves and how to apply (see below).
