This is in compliance with the recommendations of both the Charity Commission and the Catholic Safeguard Standards Agency (CSSA), established in April 2021 and the Scottish Catholic Safeguarding Standards Agency (SCSSA), established in October 2022. Both organisations operate at arm’s length from Church authorities and are governed by independent boards compromising of professionals of standing.
