Jesuit Missions seeks Campaigns and Outreach Officer to lead justice-focused advocacy

March 2, 2026

Jesuit Missions is recruiting a new Campaigns and Outreach Officer to help lead its advocacy and community engagement work across the UK.

Based in Wimbledon, London — with flexible remote working considered — the role will shape and deliver creative campaigns focused on social justice, climate justice and global solidarity, drawing on the experience of Jesuit partners in the Global South.

For more than 60 years, Jesuit Missions has worked alongside communities in some of the world’s most vulnerable regions, supporting initiatives in countries including India, Madagascar and South Sudan. Its programmes range from anti-human trafficking work in Darjeeling to youth-led climate advocacy in Madagascar and education and agricultural development projects in South Sudan.

The new Campaigns and Outreach Officer will play a key role in inspiring supporters to take action on issues such as climate justice and human rights. The postholder will engage with schools, parishes and young adult networks, organise events and workshops, and develop creative digital resources to deepen community involvement.

Working closely with colleagues across communications and supporter engagement, the successful candidate will help strengthen partnerships with Jesuit organisations and civil society groups, ensuring campaigns are both impactful and rooted in the lived experience of communities overseas.

The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week) with a salary in the region of £32,000–£35,000 depending on location and experience.

Closing date: 9:00am, Friday 20 March 2026

First interviews: Online, week commencing 23 March

Second interviews: In person at Jesuit Missions' Wimbledon office, week commencing 30 March
