Pray As You Go series helps listeners pray the Rosary this October

October 16, 2025

October, the month of the Holy Rosary, offers a special opportunity to pray with Mary and reflect on the life of Christ. To accompany this time of prayer, Pray As You Go — the daily prayer app from the Jesuits in Britain — offers a rich collection of Rosary Reflections to help listeners enter more deeply into this devotion.

The Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary on 7 October marks the centre of this devotion, but the invitation extends throughout the month: to pray for peace, for our communities, and for a deeper awareness of God’s presence in daily life.

The Pray As You Go team hopes to introduce people who are unfamiliar with the Rosary to this immensely popular devotion, and offer those who regularly pray the Rosary a chance to experience something new: "whether you learned to pray the Rosary as a child from family members, or later in life from priests, religious, spiritual directors, or friends, or whether you’re completely unfamiliar with the Rosary, we hope that we can provide you with something new and spiritually sustaining."

Available free on the Pray As You Go app and website, each audio reflection focuses on one set of Mysteries — Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious, or Luminous — combining Scripture, gentle music and guided meditation to help listeners pray with greater stillness and attentiveness.

Whether prayed alone, while travelling, or as part of a group, these reflections offer a meaningful way to deepen your prayer this October and to experience the peace that flows from prayer with Mary.
