Heythrop Library is looking for a fixed-term Project Cataloguer

July 25, 2024

The collection at Heythrop Library covers all the principal areas of theology and philosophy with a particular emphasis on works in the Catholic tradition.

The Project Cataloguer is initially employed for 12 months, but it will hopefully be possible to notify the future post holder after 10 months whether funds for an extension are available. The postholder’s core activities are in cataloguing and indexing books, to move offsite store boxes and books, and occasionally to shelve reading room books, and support front-desk functions.

Salary: £26 – 28k per annum.

Application deadline: Thursday 8th August 2024, by 2pm (BST).

Interviews: Wednesday 21st August 2024 (which will include a cataloguing test).
