Integral Ecology Quarterly Update: Winter 2025 Edition (Issue 2)

We are pleased to present the second issue of our quarterly update on integral ecology, now available for download below. This new publication, which will be regularly available on our website, shares news about our ongoing efforts to achieve a sustainable future. Our goal is to play a part in moving towards Net Zero emissions by 2050 and halving emissions by 2030.

The Integral Ecology Quarterly Update provides insights into the key actions we are taking each quarter, such as divesting from fossil fuels, supporting workers’ rights, and holding companies accountable for ethical practices. This edition highlights our ongoing commitment to addressing climate risk and promoting sustainable practices across various sectors. We also share updates on the progress made at Campion Hall in Oxford, where initiatives to enhance energy efficiency are in full swing.

As we move forward, we are excited to introduce new principles for transitioning to a sustainable world, reinforcing our commitment to integral ecology.

What is Integral Ecology?

Integral Ecology understands our world as fundamentally interconnected, inviting us to be attentive to voices that are usually drowned out. This includes “the cry of the poor”- those located far from us whose lives are nevertheless affected by environmental and social harms we have generated - and “the cry of the earth”, as all living creatures’ groan(s) under the weight of these same impacts. These ideas were put inspirationally in a new and succinct way in Pope Francis’ encyclical, Laudato Si’, published in 2015.‍
