Discover how Campion Hall’s Peruvian paintings inspired the set of Paddington in Peru, now in cinemas

Did you know that Campion Hall’s collection of Peruvian paintings played a starring role in the latest Paddington film? The story begins with a donation of stunning artworks in the style of the "School of Cuzco" featuring unique Angel Musketeers (Angeles Arcabuceros)— one of the most fascinating iconographic hybrids produced anywhere in the baroque world. Fast forward to 2023, and these paintings inspired the set design for Paddington in Peru (now available to view in cinemas), bringing a touch of Peruvian culture to the Home for Retired Bears.
