The Jesuit works in Central London are opening their doors for a free Open Day on Saturday, 21 March 2026 at the London Jesuit Centre, just minutes from Bond Street and Green Park station. The event offers a full day of discovery, reflection, and connection, giving everyone a chance to explore the life and activity that happens beyond the well-known Farm Street Church, and see how these offerings can support community, prayer, and personal reflection in everyday life.
From 10.30 am to 4pm, you can try a variety of activities: short talks with the London Jesuit Centre on theology, philosophy, spirituality, social and environmental justice, as well as drop-in spiritual direction sessions; meet other young adults exploring faith through Jesuit Young Adult Ministries (YAM); enjoy tours of Farm Street Church and Heythrop Library; and discover the British Jesuit Archives, home to hundreds of years of Catholic history, rare books, and documents. Visitors can also step behind the scenes with Pray As You Go, the Jesuit prayer app reaching hundreds of thousands, and experience what goes into recording its daily reflections.
The day will also highlight faith in action, with a wide range of charities that regularly use the Centre present to share their work and speak with visitors interested in supporting their mission.
The Open Day is flexible and welcoming, so you can take part in whatever sparks your curiosity. All sessions are free and open to everyone. No registration is needed, but signing up in advance is encouraged to stay updated on the programme.
Fr David Birchall SJ, Director of the London Jesuit Centre, said:
“The Jesuit tradition is about exploring life with curiosity, compassion and reflection. Through talks on theology and philosophy, discussions on social action, or moments of prayer, visitors can see how they can live more thoughtfully, connect more deeply, and make a difference in their lives and the world around them. Everyone is welcome to come and explore what this might mean for them.”
